It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling. In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models. iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price. Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require more attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad. The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level. In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward. What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.
